The Rubin Insurance Agency is a family owned insurance business with a group of professionals who are caring and conscientious and are multi-lingual (Mandarin Chinese & Spanish) people that take their working for you seriously. We are committed to maintaining a high standard of excellence and to establishing a firm relationship of mutual trust and service with each of our clients.
We have been serving the community since 1976. Each of our agents is fully trained and experienced in their respective field to handle all your questions and will review your current insurance to be sure that you are covered properly. We think it is important to meet with your agent annually to review what type of coverage you have and to be sure that it is adequate.

Alan Rubin, OWNER-President
Alan Rubin is a native Washingtonian and the owner and founder of the Rubin Insurance Agency. Alan began his insurance career in June of 1976 and has been with Nationwide the entire time. Alan specializes in writing commercial insurance policies but has expertise in every area of insurance that his agency offers. Outside of the insurance world Alan is an avid sports fan supporting all local sports teams, especially the Washington Redskins.

Mike Romanoff - Vice President
Michael Romanoff, the Vice President of the Rubin Insurance Agency, has been a full time insurance agent with the agency since graduating from Penn State University in 2003. Michael is knowledgeable in all areas of insurance that the Rubin Insurance Agency offers and will analyze each individual's or business' insurance needs and customize policies accordingly. Michael enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Laurie, where they enjoy competing in and watching sports.

David Arnold is the financial services specialist for the Rubin Insurance Agency. David is well versed in the world of financial products and services and specializes in helping to create financial security for his clients. David has grown up in Rockville, MD and his family has lived in Montgomery county for over 20 years. David enjoys playing golf and various racquet sports in his spare time.

Barbara Rubin - Associate Agent - Client Relations Specialist
Barbara Rubin is the client relations specialist for the Rubin Insurance Agency. Barbara excels at providing customer service with a smile and will always go the extra mile to insure the satisfaction of the agency's clients. Barbara primarily writes home and auto insurance for the Rubin Insurance Agency and while not in the office she splits her time between working as a teaching specialist at Robert Frost Middle School in Rockville, MD and spending time with her family.

Marcia Gibson is the lead customer service specialist at the Rubin Insurance Agency. Marcia is a 3rd generation Nationwide agent and has more than 17 years of experience serving the insurance needs of Nationwide clients. Marcia writes insurance for homes, autos, and specialty products like motorcycles, ATVs, RV's, and boats. Marcia loves to spend her free time riding motorcycles and hanging out with her family and close friends.
